Business at SFO
Doing business at SFO
SFO is an exciting and interesting place with various business opportunities, from construction and facility maintenance to retail concessions and advertising. These opportunities are awarded to companies through a Request for Proposal (RFP) process or competitive bid process. SFO looks forward to partnering with companies to provide our travelers with the very best in amenities and services.
SFO's Policy for Small and Disadvantaged Businesses
The Airport Commission’s policy is to ensure nondiscrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation or national origin in the award and administration of all contracts and leases, and to create a level playing field on which small businesses, including Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), can compete fairly for concession leases and construction, procurement and professional service contracts.

Principles of R.E.A.C.H.
R.E.A.C.H. stands for Revenue Enhancement And Customer Hospitality. It builds on the Airport’s effort to make San Francisco International Airport (SFO) a world-renowned facility and a premium gateway to the West.
The Principles of R.E.A.C.H. is an aspirational document for architects, designers, tenants and SFO employees. It explains SFO’s unique point of view, existing conditions and dynamic passenger demographics, so these principles can be incorporated into projects.
